Carrboro is practically next door — minutes from our Columbia Street base in Chapel Hill. We design, install, maintain, take down and store complete Christmas light displays for Carrboro's mix of classic mill-era homes, downtown-adjacent streets and newer communities.
Carolina Sky Holiday Lights designs, installs, maintains, takes down and stores residential and commercial holiday light displays throughout Carrboro and the surrounding Triangle.
Carrboro homes run smaller and closer together than most of our service area — bungalows near Weaver Street, established ranches, and newer builds toward Winmore and Lake Hogan Farms. Smaller rooflines mean design matters more: a tight, well-fitted roofline with one wrapped tree and a lit wreath reads better here than an oversized display.

Carrboro is small enough that listing neighborhoods is almost a formality — if you're in Carrboro, we cover you.
Right-sized displays for Carrboro's bungalows and compact lots — everything custom-cut so nothing looks oversized, and everything handled start to finish:
Carrboro's compact lots and smaller rooflines punish sloppy fitting — an extra three feet of strand has nowhere to hide. Every run is measured and custom-cut, so the display fits the house exactly.
Mature trees near downtown and around Lake Hogan Farms give even modest displays a second dimension. One well-wrapped tree often does more than adding footage to the roofline.
Everything is in one quote: design, lights, install, maintenance, January takedown and storage. December problems get fixed with a text — no service fee.
Send the form or call, and we walk the property and measure. One written quote covers design through storage. We install on a scheduled day, maintain the display through December, and take it down in January — labeled and stored for next season.
